Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to sell midfielder Oliver Skipp to Leicester City for a fee exceeding £20 million.

Skipp has been with Tottenham since 2008 but has struggled for regular first-team opportunities.

The 21-year-old spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Norwich City in the Championship, making 40 league starts.

Skipp is expected to undergo a medical at Leicester on Sunday, with the deal set to be completed before Monday's transfer deadline.

Leicester have been busy in the transfer market this summer, also signing goalkeeper Alex Smithies and defender Wout Faes.

Skipp's departure is likely to pave the way for Tottenham to sign a new midfielder before the transfer window closes.
