The actor, known for roles in "The Karate Kid" and "The Warlords," passed away on Tuesday, according to his publicist. McQueen's cause of death has not been released, but he had been suffering from cancer for several years.

McQueen was born in Santa Monica, California, on December 28, 1959. He began his acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in small roles in films such as "The Blob" and "The Last Starfighter." He landed his breakout role in the 1984 film "The Karate Kid," in which he played the bully Johnny Lawrence.

McQueen went on to star in a number of films and television shows throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including "The Warlords," "The Bounty Hunter," and "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues." He also appeared in several made-for-television movies, including "The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw" and "The Macahans."

In recent years, McQueen had been working as a film producer and director. He directed the 2017 film "The Last Man Club," which starred his father, Steve McQueen, in his final film role. McQueen is survived by his wife, Sarah, and three children.
